Not All Viruses Are Obvious
In the old days, a virus would announce itself with a laughing skull or by deleting your files. Modern malware is different. It wants to stay hidden. It silently uses your internet connection to attack other computers (Botnets) or mines cryptocurrency in the background.
Our "Zero-Trust" Approach: We assume your current antivirus has been compromised. We boot your PC from our own clean, external operating system. This prevents the virus from "fighting back" or hiding itself while we scan.

1. Trojans
Named after the Trojan Horse, these look like legitimate programs (like a PDF reader or game crack) but contain a malicious payload. Once installed, they give hackers a backdoor into your PC.
2. Rootkits
The most dangerous type. Rootkits bury themselves deep in the Windows Kernel (the core). They can even trick Task Manager into showing "0% CPU" usage while they run at 100%. We use specialized boot-level tools to dig them out.
3. Worms
Unlike viruses, worms don't need you to click anything to spread. They travel through your local Wi-Fi to infect your other laptops, phones, and even smart TVs. We scan your whole network to stop the spread.
The Cleaning Process
It's more than just hitting "Scan".
- 1. Isolation: We disconnect your PC from the internet immediately to stop data theft.
- 2. Extraction: We remove the infected files manually. If a Windows file is infected, we don't delete it; we replace it with a clean copy from Microsoft.
- 3. Verification: We run a 24-hour stress test to ensure the infection doesn't "respawn" after a reboot.

Why didn't my antivirus catch it?
Antivirus relies on "signatures" (fingerprints) of known viruses. Hackers create 300,000 new malware variants every day. If you are hit by a brand new one (Zero-Day), your antivirus won't recognize it yet.
Do I need to format Windows?
Rarely. We pride ourselves on surgical removal. We only recommend a full wipe (format) if system files are damaged beyond repair. We always back up your data first.
How did I get it?
The most common vector today is "Malvertising" (fake ads) or email attachments pretending to be delivery notifications (Royal Mail/Evri) that contain a hidden script.
