USB-C Port Replacement
Modern laptops use USB-C (Type-C) for charging. These tiny ports are fragile and complex. We have the advanced equipment to replace them.
Complex Type-C Repairs
USB-C ports have 12 to 24 tiny pins hidden underneath the connector. A standard soldering iron cannot fix these. They require hot air rework stations and microscope precision.
Many shops will tell you that you need a whole new motherboard (costing £300+). We disagree. We can replace just the damaged port for a fraction of that price, usually between £70-£90 depending on the model.
We fix USB-C charging on: MacBook Air/Pro, Dell XPS 13/15, HP Spectre x360, Lenovo Yoga, and ASUS ZenBooks.
