2. Isopropyl Flush
We flush the mechanism with 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). This dissolves the sugar and sticky residue instantly but is non-conductive and evaporates quickly, so it won't damage your laptop's circuits.
3. Lubrication & Reassembly
For older mechanical-style keys, we may apply a tiny amount of dry PTFE lubricant to ensure smooth travel. The keys are then reassembled and tested for that perfect "click" and rapid rebound.

What to do after a liquid accident.
Can I wash it with water?
NEVER. Adding water to "wash out" the sugar will only push the liquid further inside, likely reaching the motherboard and killing the laptop. Use only 99% alcohol or bring it to professionals.
Does the rice trick work?
No. Rice does practically nothing for internal moisture, and starch dust can jam the keys even more. The sticky sugar residue needs physically removing; drying it out just makes it harder.
My spacebar is stuck down. Can you fix it?
Spacebars are the tricky ones because they have a metal stabilizer bar. If this bar is bent or unhooked, the key won't rebound. We are experts at re-seating stabilizer bars on all laptop models.
