Broken Hinges?
Is your laptop splitting apart when you open it? Ignoring a stiff hinge can crack your screen. We reinforce and repair structural damage.
Don't Force It Open!
Hinges get stiff over time due to dust and lack of lubrication. The extra force rips the metal nuts out of the plastic lid. If you keep forcing it, you will snap the screen video cable or crack the glass.
We don't just glue it. We use structural epoxy and new screw mounts to bond the hinge back to the chassis. We also loosen the hinge tension so it glides smoothly, preventing it from breaking again.
What We Repair
Stiff Hinges
We grease and loosen the mechanism to factory spec so it opens easily with one hand.
Broken Plastics
If the corner of your laptop has snapped off, we can reconstruct the mount points.
Bezel Replacement
If the plastic frame around the screen is cracked, we fit a brand new bezel.
