This allows us to turn around 80% of repairs within 24 hours.
We are also one of the few shops in Leeds capable of Chip-Level Motherboard Repair. If your laptop won't turn on and another shop told you "the motherboard is dead," bring it to us. We might be able to replace a 50p capacitor and save you £500.

Liquid Damage
Spilled tea/wine/water? Turn it off NOW. Do not put it in rice (it doesn't work!). Bring it to us for an Ultrasonic Chemical Bath to stop corrosion eating the circuit board.
Charging Ports
Do you have to wiggle the charger to get it to work? This is a fire hazard. We desolder the broken DC jack and solder a reinforced new one directly onto the motherboard.
Keyboard & Trackpad
Missing keys? Sticky spacebar? We replace entire keyboard units. We can also replace trackpads that have become unresponsive or erratic due to wear or liquid spills.
Hinge Repair
Is the plastic casing splitting when you open the lid? This is a snapped hinge mount. We use specialized structural epoxy and nuts to rebuild the chassis stronger than factory new.
The "Right to Repair" Philosophy
Manufacturers want you to buy a new laptop every 3 years. We disagree. Laptops are built to last much longer if maintained. We are strong advocates for the Right to Repair movement, fighting against glued-in batteries and soldered RAM.
Component Level Repair Explained
Most repair shops are "Part Swappers." If a chip on your motherboard burns out, they quote you £400 for a whole new motherboard. We are "Board Level Technicians." We use microscopes and schematics to find the exact burnt chip (often costing £5) and replace just that part. This saves massive amounts of e-waste and money.
Preventative Maintenance
Laptops die because they get hot. The heatsink paste dries out and the fans clog with dust after 2 years. We offer a Deep Clean Service where we strip the laptop down, clean the fans, and re-apply Arctic Silver thermal paste. This can extend your laptop's life by another 3-4 years.

Common questions about getting back online.
Is it worth fixing an old laptop?
Usually, yes. If the repair costs less than 40% of the replacement cost, we recommend it. An older i5 laptop with a new SSD is often faster and better built than a brand new cheap £300 Celeron laptop.
Do you lose my data?
For 99% of hardware repairs (Screens, Batteries, Keyboards, Charging Ports), your data is completely untouched. If we need to reinstall Windows, we will always ask your permission and offer a backup service first.
How long is the warranty?
We offer a 12-Month Warranty on all screens and hardware replacements. If the part fails due to a manufacturing defect, we replace it for free. (Note: Warranty does not cover accidental damage like dropping it again!).
Do you repair Microsoft Surface?
Yes. Surface repairs are difficult because the screens are glued shut, but we have the specialized heat plates and tools to open them safely and replace screens or batteries.
