Silence Your Noisy PC
Is your computer roaring like a jet engine? Does it shut down affectionately called "Thermal Shutdown" right in the middle of a game? Heat is the #1 killer of electronics. We strip your PC down, remove years of dust buildup, and apply competition-grade thermal compounds to make it run cool and quiet again.
The Invisible Performance Killer
You paid for a 3.5GHz processor, but you might only be getting 2.0GHz. Why? Thermal Throttling.
Modern CPUs (Intel Core and AMD Ryzen) and GPUs are smart. When they hit their maximum safe temperature (usually 90°C-100°C), they intentionally slow down to prevent themselves from melting. This results in "stuttering," lowered FPS in games, and sluggish video rendering. If your fans are screaming but your PC is slow, you are throttling.
The culprit? Usually a combination of dried-out thermal paste (factory paste lasts 2-3 years tops) and fine dust clogging the heatsink fins, acting like a winter blanket for your chip.
Our Deep Clean Protocol
1. Full Disassembly & Dusting
Compressed air cans aren't enough—they just push dust deeper. We use an ESD-safe industrial air compressor to blast dust out of every power supply vent, radiator fin, and fan bearing. We remove the GPU and RAM to clean the actual PCIe slots, preventing future connection errors.
2. Premium Thermal Paste Application
We don't use the cheap white gunk. We clean your CPU and GPU die with Isopropyl Alcohol (99.9%) and apply high-performance compounds like Arctic MX-6 or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. This alone can drop load temperatures by 8-10°C compared to 3-year-old factory paste.
3. Airflow Optimization
Having fans doesn't help if they are fighting each other. We check your "Air Pressure." Ideally, you want Positive Pressure (more air in than out) to keep dust away. We re-orient your intake and exhaust fans and tidy up cables so cool air has a straight path to your graphics card.
AIO Liquid Cooler Issues
Think your liquid cooler is immune to overheating? Think again.
All-In-One (AIO) liquid coolers have a lifespan. Over 4-5 years, the liquid slowly evaporates (permeates through the tubes), creating air bubbles.
- The Death Rattle: If you hear gurgling or a "grinding" noise from the pump block, your cooler is running dry.
- Instant 100°C: If your PC boots and hits 100°C within seconds, your pump has likely failed completely. The liquid isn't moving.
- The Fix: We can verify pump failure and replace the unit with a high-reliability air tower or a new AIO.
The "Smoke" Test
Do you smoke or vape near your PC?
Smoke particles are sticky (tar). They coat the fan blades and radiators, binding with dust to form a glue-like substance that compressed air cannot remove.
We handle this. We use chemical electronics cleaners to dissolve the residue and restore your fans to like-new condition.
Overheating FAQs
Keeping it cool.
How often should I clean my PC?
If you keep it on the floor: Every 6 months. If on a desk: Every 12 months. If you have pets (cats/dogs): Every 3-6 months. Fur is the enemy of fans.
Do I need Liquid Metal?
For most users, no. High-end traditional paste (Kryonaut) is safer. Liquid Metal (Conductonaut) is electrically conductive; if it spills, it fries your motherboard. We only recommend Liquid Metal for extreme overclockers or "Delidded" CPUs.
My laptop gets hot on my lap. Is that safe?
Not really. Blocking the intake vents (usually on the bottom) suffocates the laptop. It degrades the battery and can even cause burns. We can clean the internal blowers to help, but always use a hard surface.
